About Nick Eckert, Event Photographer

I became seriously interested in photography after taking a vacation southern Argentina and Chile in 2006.  I noticed that the person who took the best photograph of the elusive Magellanic Woodpecker in my tour group had an SLR, so I decided I'd get one to play around with.  Since then, I've become a pretty fanatical photographer with my main interests in capturing images of interesting/photogenic events (sports, parades, dance, etc) and nature.  I've also decided that I can also do some good with my photographic skills by volunteering my services to people and organizations who can use them (I trade my skills and time for access to events that often ordinary shutterbugs could never get access to and I think everyone's been happy with the bargain).  You can see my client list below as well as the equipment I've got expertise with.
